In December 2006, Dona Chito Madrigal released funds as assistance to the typhoon victims in Bikol. The amount was equally entrusted to the Bikol Branch Directors, Most Rev. Leonardo Z. Legaspi, OP, DD, Archbishop of Caceres and Fr. Joel Tabora, SJ, president of Ateneo de Naga University. The funds were released for the relief operations of the Archdiocese and the Ateneo de Naga University.
